Reserving your parking space with The Parking Spot is a pretty simple and straightforward process. Here is a step-by-step guide that can help you through the process. 

Step 1: Go to The Parking Spot Website

First of all, you need to go to the official “The Parking Spot” website. You will find everything you need to make the reservation right on the homepage. Here’s a link to their official website: https://www.theparkingspot.com/

Step 2: Fill In The Required Information

The next step is to fill in the details of the reservation including the location, check-in and check-out date, and time. 

The platform has a user-friendly interface that will allow you to easily select the location, date range, and check-in and check-out time. 

Once you have filled in the details, click on the Reserve button. 

Step 3: The Sign-Up Prompt

Just as you click on the Reserve button, you will be given a login/sign-up prompt. If you are using the service for only one time or are in a hurry, you can continue as a guest for now to proceed with the reservation. It is at the top-right corner. 

However, if you have time, it is better to sign up for their Spot Club for exclusive benefits and discounts. 

I will be discussing the benefits of joining the Spot Club and its process in a separate section below. If you want to sign up, you can skip to that section. Otherwise, continue with the process. 

Step 4: Select the Location and Service You Want

On the next page, you will be provided with the available parking locations managed by The Parking Spot near the airport you have selected. 

You will have the option to select from the various parking services provided at those locations including Premium, Covered, Non-Covered, Self, and Valet parking along with The Parking Spot rates. 

You can select the service that best suits your needs and budget. 

You can also choose to Pay Now or Pay Later for your reservation with a minor difference in the charges. 

You will also see the distance mentioned below the name of the parking location. Hence, you can choose the spot that is nearest to your selected airport or that is cheapest, based on your preferences.

Step 5: Choosing Additional Services

If a Car Wash service is available at your selected location, you will be provided with an option to select the car wash service you want. Car wash is not free and will be charged according to the service you have selected. 

If you don’t want any car wash service, you can click on “not this time” or simply click on the Continue button located at both the top and bottom of the page.

Step 6: Fill In Contact & Payment Information

Next, you will have to fill in the contact and payment information. Provide accurate information here if you have not signed up. Your provided information will be your sole insurance for identification at your location. 

For users with a login, this information will be filled in automatically. 

The platform will give you the option to sign up again, which will waive the reservation fee.

For guest users who don’t want to sign up, they can simply fill in the required contact and payment information. 

On the right side of the page, you will be able to see the details of your invoice including all the charges that are applied to your parking. 

Step 7: Complete the Reservation

As you have filled in all the information and agreed to the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Reservation Policy, you can click on Complete Reservation to proceed with the transaction. 

Once the transaction has been made, you will receive a confirmation receipt with a QR code in the email. If you have the mobile app, you will receive the QR code in that as well. 

Now your reservation process is complete. All you have to do is bring the QR code to the scanner at the parking location and once scanned you will be able to park.

The application is free to download and makes the process a whole lot easier. Instead of email, you will receive the QR code on the application that can be instantly accessed and used on the location.

The platform has an exclusive membership club that can be joined for free and will provide you with plenty of benefits. 

You can sign up for this club by providing your basic information instantly and get access to tons of benefits of being a member of the spot club. 

The signing-up process is pretty much similar to any other platform. You are not required to provide any personal information or details and can create a login account instantly.

How To Use The Parking Spot Service – Things To Remember

Once you have made the reservation from the website portal or mobile application, the next step is to arrive at the selected location at the given time. You cannot check in earlier than the designated time. 

You will be provided with a specific QR code that you can use for check-in at the location. You will have to scan the QR code at the scanner. Depending on the service you have selected, you will be provided with a self-parking or valet-parking service. 

It is important to remember that you do not have a specific spot reserved. If you have chosen self-parking, you will have to follow the directions to find your designated area where you can park your car in any of the free spaces. 

There might be a greeter present at your designated location who will guide you to your parking area or you might have to find it yourself by following the signals. 

Once you have parked the car you can use the exclusive shuttle service of The Parking Spot to go conveniently to the airport. Depending on the service you have selected, the shuttle may be right behind you to help you with the luggage, or you might have to go to a designated area to get into the shuttle. 

Usually, the shuttles leave for the airport every 15-20 minutes. However, if you have selected a premium service, you can request a shuttle instantly after you have parked your car. 

For those who have chosen the valet parking service, you will hand over your car to a valet upon check-in who will inspect your car for damages and then hand you a claim Then he will give you a claim ticket. 

Once you return from your journey, you can request a shuttle using the mobile application and the valet will fetch your car for you for an easy checkout. You can return the claim ticket to the valet that he handed over to you when leaving.

What If I Have Not Made A Reservation? – Walk-Ins

You can still use The Parking Spot parking services even if you have not made a reservation. However, you will have to pay full charges upon check-in and that is only if the parking space is available. The rates will be provided on the screen at check-in. 

You will not be privy to any of the benefits that are only offered to the Spot Club members. You will use a credit card to check in and check out of the location. 

It is important to use the same credit card that you used for check-in to check out of the location. You won’t be able to check out using a different credit card. 

What If I Run Into Any Issues? – Access Customer Services

If you run into any issues before, during, or after your stay, you can always contact the General Manager at the facility to help you out. No matter what your problem is, they will resolve it for you.
